Founded in 2019 by 7th generation Master Perfumer Aurélien Guichard, Matiere Premiere translates from French into “Raw Material”. Focusing on excellence and perfume quality, each fragrance is built around one exceptional natural ingredient. It is used in its highest dosage in a contemporary, direct composition, to reveal its texture and create an unparalleled sillage. The House grows its own roses and tuberoses in organic farming in the Grasse region.
